What rewards program is coming in summer 2018?

We are saying goodbye to Plenti and hello to a new rewards program this summer – SE Grocers rewards. You will still be able to earn points at our stores and use them for savings on both groceries and fuel at Shell and other select fuel stations.

When are the changes happening?

On July 10, 2018, Southeastern Grocers will officially exit the Plenti loyalty program. SE Grocers rewards cards will be distributed in all stores from July 18, 2018.

Why is the program changing?

At Southeastern Grocers, we are constantly focused on creating value for our customers and offering a strong loyalty program is an important part of that commitment. Based on customer feedback, our current loyalty program was not meeting the needs of our customers. In response to our customers’ feedback, we have developed a new program that offers rewards on what our customers need most – fuel for their families and fuel for their vehicles.

Why have you chosen Shell?

Over the last year, our customers have voiced that they prefer Shell.

Is the new program with Shell the same as fuelperks!?

No, the program is different. SE Grocers rewards will allow customers to redeem rewards on fuel and groceries, combining two reward aspects that our customers have told us are most important.

What is Instant Gold Status?

As an SE Grocers rewards member, you get 5¢/gal on fuel every fill, every day at Shell (up to 20 gallons). This is in addition to the savings you will receive when you use points.

Can I still redeem Plenti points?

To ensure an easy and seamless transition to the new program, customers will be able to earn and use Plenti points until July 10, 2018. Customers who are fully registered in the Plenti program will be able to take the value of unredeemed points earned in our stores to the new SE Grocers rewards program.

How do I register for the new program?

Registration for the new SE Grocers rewards program will begin in early summer and will be easily completed in store with a simple card replacement during checkout.

Why do I need to finish registration with Plenti for the new program?

We don’t want you to lose hard-earned points from BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie. In order for us to issue the value of the unredeemed points to the new rewards program, you must complete registration by 11:59pm EDT on July 10, 2018.

How do I know if I have finished registration?

Check your enrollment status at BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie. Should you not be fully registered, you will be prompted to complete the process.

Will I be able to take points to the new program?

Yes, if you have finished registration, unredeemed points earned at BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie through July 10, 2018, will be issued to your new rewards account by July 18, 2018.

When will Plenti end?

Southeastern Grocers will exit the Plenti program on July 10, 2018. That is also the last day to earn and use Plenti points. For further questions regarding the Plenti program please contact the Plenti Customer Care Team at 1-855-753-6841.

What will happen to points after the program ends?

If you are not fully registered in the Plenti program, we will not be able to issue unredeemed Plenti points and they will expire. If you have finished registration, the unredeemed points balance earned at BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie will be issued to your new rewards account by July 18, 2018.

What should I do while waiting for the new rewards program?

All you need to do is keep earning points by shopping in your local store each week and make sure you’re fully registered – simple as that!

Will I get a new rewards card after registering?

When you make your first purchase and present your Plenti card, you’ll get a new SE Grocers reward card at the register and be transitioned over from the Plenti program – it’s that simple! You should keep your Plenti card to ensure smooth transition to other partners’ new loyalty programs.

Will there be other participants in the rewards program?

Our SE Grocers rewards program will focus on earning points at checkout for savings on groceries and fuel! Many of our customers have told us they like using Shell and we are happy to welcome them back in our new SE Grocers rewards program.

Will we still be able to earn and redeem points at Exxon and Mobil gas stations?

Customers will be able to earn and use points at participating Exxon and Mobil gas stations through July 10th. After July 10th customers will no longer be able to earn or use points at Exxon and Mobil stations as we transition to our new SE Grocers rewards program.

My store is distributing new rewards cards, what do I need to do now?

Congratulations on being one of our first members! Please call our Customer Care Center at 1-844-745-0463 to set a PIN.

Which stores are you choosing to trial?

A total of 11 stores (nine grocery and two liquor) will launch this pilot through two phases.
Beginning on June 4th, the following stores will begin their pilot programs:

  • BI-LO #5288 (Brevard, NC)
  • Harveys #1671 (Lake City, FL)
  • Winn-Dixie #81 (Lake City, FL)
  • Winn-Dixie #82 – Liquor Store (Lake City, FL)

Phase two of the trial will begin on June 11th at the following stores:
  • BI-LO #5567 (Statesboro, GA)
  • BI-LO #5552 (Pickens, SC)
  • Harveys #1633 (Jessup, GA)
  • Harveys #1626 (Reidsville, GA)
  • Winn-Dixie #144 (Macclenny, FL)
  • Winn-Dixie #163 (Palatka, FL)
  • Winn-Dixie #156 – Liquor Store (Palatka, FL)

Why have you chosen these specific stores to trial?

We have an incredibly diverse footprint in the Southeast; shoppers with different tastes, shopping habits and expectations. We believe this collection of stores provides us with a great cross-section of customers and will set us up for success in implementing this program successfully.

Why is a trial even necessary? Why are you doing it?

Delivering our customers a shopping experience they can count on is our highest priority. The intention of such a trial program, also known as a pilot, is to put into action business processes, and test our training and systems in order to give our customers the best possible experience when the full program launches on July 18th.

What happened to my points? It seems they did not transfer over to the new program?

Plenti points earned in our stores will be issued from the Plenti program to your SE Grocers rewards account by July 18th. If for any reason you do not see the points issued after this time, please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-844-745-0463.

Why do I need to set a PIN?

The security of our customers’ personal information is extremely important to us. As part of this exciting new program, we’ve teamed up with an old partner, Fuel Rewards, a leader in the customer loyalty field, to ensure that not only does the program run smoothly, but that our customer’s information is safely stored. A PIN allows customers to redeem points using their phone number.

What if there is no close-by Shell station? Where can I go?

The Fuel Rewards® program has a limited-number of stations outside of Shell, to accommodate customers in such cases. To find a nearby list of participating gas stations, please call our Customer Care Center at 1-844-745-0463.

How many SE Grocers rewards points will I earn for each dollar spent?

Customers will earn 1 point for every $2.00 spent on qualifying items. These points can then be used for savings on groceries or on fuel at participating Shell or select fuel stations.

  • 100 points = $1 at checkout – minimum 100 points to be used.
  • 100 points = five cents off per gallon – 100 point increments only – maximum 20 gallons.

Customers can also earn even more points by purchasing items with bonus points on them and with points-boosting receipt offers. Purchasing most gift cards will earn you at least 3X points every day*.

*Excludes BI-LO, Fresco y Mas, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie gift cards. Also excludes Visa variable, MasterCard variable, American Express variable, reloadable, and prepaid debit cards such as NetSpend & Green Dot.

Only fully registered customers are able to redeem points for savings. By using your SE Grocers rewards card at the pump, points will transfer in 100 point increments, up to 20 gallons.

What is the minimum amount of points needed to redeem?

Customers must have a minimum of 100 points in their rewards account to use points.

What is the maximum amount of points that can be redeemed?

Customers may redeem as many points as they like from their account. There is no maximum limit for redemptions in a Southeastern Grocers store, as long as the minimum of 100 points is met. Customers may redeem up to 9999 points at the fuel pump.

Do I receive bonus points for participating in my local store’s pilot program?

All Customers [and associates] who have shopped in a pilot store within 90 days from the launch will receive 100 SE Grocers rewards points to start their balance, regardless of enrollment status. Customers can still use their Plenti points in non-Pilot stores until the end of the program on July 10th.

Why didn’t any or all of my Plenti points get issued into SE Grocers rewards?

We are only able to issue customers points that they earned in our stores. Only fully registered customers will have receive their balances issued in the new program no later than July 18th.

Are carryover point balances permitted after redemptions at the fuel pump?

If a customer uses their card for redemption at the fuel pump, the full deduction from the account is effective immediately. For example, if a customer were to only fill 10 gallons into their vehicle, the remaining balance of up to 20 (potential) gallons not used would be forfeited within that redemption.

Can I still use my Plenti card?

Yes, you can still use your Plenti card through July 10th. To find locations, please visit your banner’s store locator to find the closest Southeastern Grocers store and participating Exxon or Mobil stations.

What happens when I swipe my SE Grocers rewards card at the pump?

As a fully registered customer, when you swipe your card at the pump we will share your account information with Fuel Rewards to create you an account. Fuel Rewards will send you an email to set a password for your Fuel Rewards account. Already have a Fuel Rewards account? No worries if your email is the same on both accounts Fuel Rewards will link your accounts.

Gold Status – as a fully registered SE Grocers rewards member, when you swipe your card at Shell you get a 5¢/gal off fuel, up to 20 gallons, every day. This is in addition to the savings you get when you use points. Redemption at non-Shell stations will not be eligible for Gold Status.

I don’t like carrying a card, what can I do?

No problem. Simply use your phone number at checkout to earn points. When you are ready to use points in Southeastern Grocers stores you can use your Phone Number and PIN. To redeem points at Shell and other Fuel Rewards stations enter your 14 digit ALT ID, which consists of your 10 digit phone number and 4 digit PIN number.

I don’t want to finish registration, but I still want to receive the discounted prices.

By using your rewards card in our store you can continue to earn points and receive the discounted prices across the store. However, you cannot use points for savings.

Will I lose digital coupons previously loaded to my Plenti card?

Digital coupons loaded to your card will be redeemable in pilot stores.
